Man. United maintain struggle for EPL top four
Manchester United have maintained the struggle for the top four in the English Premier League table after 4-2 defeat of Leeds United in an away match on Sunday.
Man. U took the lead in the 34 minutes through a header by returnee Captain, Harry Maguire. Bruno Fernandes made it two before the end of the first half.
Leeds, playing at home, cancelled the two goals lead of Man. U. in the early part of the second half, but United bounced back in the later part of the game.
Fred restored Man. U. lead in the 25th minutes, while Anthony Elanga increased the tally in Man. U’s 4-2 victory over Leads.
The victory on Sunday places Man. U on fourth position with 46 points from 28 matches, behind Chelsea which have 50 points from 25 matches.
Manchester City top the EPL table with 63 points from 26 matches, trailed by Liverpool with 57 points from 25 matches. Liverpool have the chance to reduce the gap between Man City to 3 points if they win the outstanding one match and may be close to winning the season’s EPL title.
