The crowd on the Long Walk is now ten-deep or more as the long walk to Windsor Castle begins following the procession’s arrival.

Windsor, where the Queen broadcast to the nation in wartime and spent so much of her time throughout her life, will be her final resting place.

Thousands of the mourners said they were there to say how much respect they had for the Queen.

Gun salutes rang out every minute of the walk to the castle.

King Charles and the other members of the Royal family are in the procession.
