Marketing Space @9: Brands, Marketing Professionals, others for honour
As part of effort to celebrate its 9th anniversary, Nigeria’s most authoritative brands and advertising focused magazine, Marketing Space has concluded plans to honour outstanding brands, agencies and practitioners in the Nigerian Marketing Communications industry for their contributions to the industry and consumers.
The anniversary celebration/awards presentation is billed to hold from 11th to 13th December, 2023 across recipients’ offices in Lagos.
Among those to be decorated include; Mr. John Ehiguese, GCEO, MediaCraft Associates as Legend of Public Relations, Mr. Udeme Ufot, GCEO, SO&U as Legend of Creative Advertising, Mr. Tunji Adeyinka, CEO, Connect Marketing as Legend of Experiential Marketing and Mr. Emmanuel Ajufo, CEO, Opportunity To See as Legend of OOH Advertising.
Others are; Mr. Steve Babaeko, CEO, X3M Marketing Ideas Ltd, Mr. Wole Olagundoye, CEO, Outori Ltd, Mrs. Brenda Nwagu, CEO, QVT Media Ltd, Mr. Philip Odiakose, CEO, P+Measurement and Mr. Abidoun Richard Oshinibosi, CEO, Abelinis Ltd.
Flour Mill of Nigeria’s Golden Penny Chocoh Spread will be named Innovative Brand of the year, Quality Foods Africa’s Dodo Pizza as Best Pizza Brand of the year and StarTimes Nigeria will get Best TV platform of the year.

Agencies to be decorated are MediaReach OMD, SBI Stagwell, Chenist Communications, RedGecko PR, Marketing + Media and Markova Creative.
Commenting on the event, Ayobami Lukman Ishau, CEO of Marketing Space said the journey of the magazine’s operation dated back to 2014 when the editorial board of the publication decided to play a major role in the Nigerian marketing communication industry and ever since, the magazine has continued to contribute its quota to the industry.
In his word: “This celebration is to appreciate and recognise brands, agencies and individual practitioners who have contributed immensely to our operations and the industry despite several challenges in the Nigerian economic landscape.’’
‘’We started this two years ago when our publication clocked seven years, we honoured excellence in creative advertising, Public Relations, Media, Experiential Marketing, Outdoor Advertising and Marketing practice.
“We are not in doubt that these awardees truly deserve the honour at this time and we wish to appreciate the contributions they have made since we started nine years ago’’, he said.
He added that, “Our hope is to recognise other sectors of the Nigerian economy when we clock ten next year, where individuals that have contributed to the economy would be honoured’’.
Marketing Space magazine started operation in the marketing communication industry nine years ago. Since inception, the publication has been consistent in ensuring that the industry is well reported, and monitor activities of brands, agencies and practitioners. It propagates brands, marketing and advertising messages to the world.
