Meet the actor from Nigeria who featured in Merlin
It is no longer news that Nigerians are gaining fame and recognition within the entertainment industry in the world. There are people from Nigeria that have starred in various foreign movies because of their exceptional talent and efforts.
However, Adetomiwa Stafford Edun is one of these actors that have starred in foreign movies. He is popularly known for his role (Sir Eylan) in the movie titled “Merlin”.
He acted as Sir Eylan in Merlin who was also the son of Sir Bors and a Knight of the Round Table in Camelot. He became a good friend to king Arthur in the movie and an excellent knight who helped his cousin Lancelot to rescue Guinevere after their affair was exposed. He also became the Emperor of Constantinople in the movie.
Apparently, Babatunde Adetomiwa Strafford Edun was born in Lagos (1984) but he stays in the United Kingdom. At 11 years, he was relocated to the United Kingdom where he continued his education and acquired a BA degree from Christ College, Cambridge Royal Academy of Drama Arts.
How Babatunde Adetomiwa Is Making Waves In The Entertainment Industry.
He made entry into the movie industry following his graduation and he had played small part in the production of the eponymous play by the National theatre and the Liverpool play house “Macbeth”. In 2009, Tomiwa emerged as the second black actor to play Romeo at the Globe Theatre.
Starting from 2008, he acted numerous Hollywood movies. In 2018, he was equally shortlisted for the Broadway World UK Awards.
