Mob burns Toyota Camry Yahoo boy uses to crush tricycle rider, passenger to death
A man eyewitnesses identified as a Yahoo boy floor-boarded his Toyota Camry in Ondo, Ondo West LGA, on Monday, and eventually broadsided a tricycle, killing the rider and one passenger.
And the internet fraudster knew what was at stake, so he bolted out of his car as a mob approached.
He saved his life, though. But he lost his Muscle.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the Toyota Camry was on top speed when the accident happened.
Apart from the rider known in the town as Oyinbo and a passenger that died, others sustained injuries and had to be taken to hospital.
As soon as the car owner escaped the angry crowd, his car went up in flame.
The corpses of the deceased were deposited in the morgue of General hospital in Ondo town by the patrol team of Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), while the four surviving victims were taken to the Trauma Centre in the town for treatment.
The state Police Public Relations Officer DSP Funmi Odunlami confirmed the incident.
