Mugabe is dead
Robert Mugabe, former President of Zimbabwe, is dead.
He died in the early hours of Friday.
He was 95.
Mugabe was the longest serving president of Zimbabwe was forced to resign in 2017 following protracted intra party crisis.
He was succeeded by his alienated deputy, Emmerson Mnangagwa.
A senior Zimbabwean diplomat said Friday that Mugabe died in Singapore around 02: 40 GMT.
Mugabe is survived by his exiled wife and four children.
