NFF/AITEO award next year will be perfect – Lagos State FA

Inaugural NFF/AITEO Awards has come and gone, but memories and lessons from the landmark achievement by the NFF duly sponsored by AITEO would continue to linger,National Daily learnt.
An evening graced by dignitaries from all works of life, not least the FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, CAF President, Ahmad Ahmad, AITEO Group Deputy Managing Director, Francis Peters, the Governors of Lagos and Delta State, Akinwunmi Ambode and Ifeanyi Okowa respectively to name just a few would easily pass as a successful event but several lessons must also be learnt if the NFF is to improve on the Maiden Edition,National Daily gathered.
NFF 1st V,P Seyi Akintunde took time to appreciate the Federal Government of Nigeria, Governments of Lagos and Delta State and AITEO (official Sponsors) for their unwavering support towards the success witnessed at the EKO Hotel and Suite on recently.
He told National Daily learnt, “Tonight we celebrated life, innovation and excellence which has seen the NFF under the leadership of Amaju Pinnick consistently blossom over the last three and half years since taking office.”
He added, “We won’t have been here today without the unwavering support of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Governments of Lagos and Delta State and our Sponsors, the AITEO Group and I would like to use this opportunity to say a very big thank you to them and also to everyone who took time out on recently “.
He concluded by touching on the success of the event and the lessons learnt.
“Being able to hold this event alone for us is a huge achievement and for it to have gone so well, we can say it was pretty much a successful night,” he said.
“Lessons have been learnt I can assure you and the next edition would be perfect.”
