Nigerian Army football team wins National League, gains promotion

The Nigerian Army football team (Green Beret Football Club) has emerged winner in the 2018 Nationwide League Division One Championship and gained promotion to the Nigeria National League,National Daily learnt.
The team emerged champion by winning all their matches at home and away.
The championship which took place at the IIorin township stadium featured the Green Beret Football Club and Olisa Football Club.
In a message to the team, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, congratulated the team for attaining this feat. He urged them to work harder in other to remain on top.
