No coach could have stayed as long as I did – Rohr
Former Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, has revealed he enjoyed his 64-month stay with the team and proud of his achievements. Speaking with AFP, Rohr said, he was disappointed to lose his job, but expects the team to do well at the tournament without him.
“It’s a huge frustration, but I don’t want to argue, it’s not my style.” “(I’m) convinced that they will have a very good AFCON because the team is in place and this very united group is ready for the challenges that await it.”
“I don’t think anyone could have stayed there as long as I did,” Rohr told Rheinpfalz.” “It wasn’t always easy, but it was extremely interesting.
