Obasanjo, Abdulsalami, Atiku, Ooni, others storm Ibadan for wedding of Oyo Speaker
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo will be leading a team of eminent personalities to Ibadan, Oyo State, at reh weekend for the wedding of the Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Right Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin. The Speaker, 34 years old, will be getting engaged to Ms. Olamidun Majekodunmi in the ancient city.
Other eminent personalities expected at the wedding include former Heads of State, retired General Abdusalami Abubakar, former Vice President Atiku Abukakar, 13 Governors, Ooni of Ife, the Alaafin of Oyo, the Olubadan of Ibadanland some governors, industrialists, the Oni of Ife, as well as 13 governors who include Governor Oluseyi Makinde of Oyo State, the chief host, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, among others.
Also, Speakers of States Houses of Assembly, federal and State lawmakers, including Chief Justices.
The wedding denoted as “DO THE HONOUR” is scheduled for November 25th and 27th, 2021.
The wedding will take place at the International Conference Center, University of Ibadan, while the Holy Matrimony will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, Bodija and reception at the Polo Club Eleyele, Ibadan.
Former VP Atiku will be the Father of the Day.
Popular musicians that will be entertaining guests include King Sunny Ade, David Adedeji Adeleke, known as Davido, Yinka Aiyefele, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, aka Mayorkun, and Ayo Balogun, etc.
