Obiano’s wife, Ebele, holds on to APGA, gets ticket for Anambra north senatorial district
The wife of former Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, Ebele Obiano, at the primary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), won the party’s ticket for the Anambra North senatorial district. She is holding strongly on the structures of the party.
Ebele at the primary election held at Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium, Onitsha, had 152 votes to defeat Primus Odili, who was Chief of Staff to Governor Obiano, who had 122 votes, as well as a former Commissioner for Information, Tony Nnacheta and another aspirant Samuel Onwuteaka, who both got 2 votes each.
