Oborevwori visits Tinubu
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has visited President Bola Tinubu at the State House, Abuja, after his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Oborevwori had dumped the PDP for the APC in conjunction with his immediate predecessor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, PDP vice presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections.
Other defectors to the APC included the members of the State House of Assembly, all cabinet members and local government officials.
The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, celebrating Governor Oborevwori’s visit to President Tinubu highlighted @fkeyamo “Our brand new indisputable leader in Delta State and Governor, H.E Sheriff Oborevwori, met with Mr. President today for the first time after his formal defection to the APC. Delta APC is in safe hands.”
