Oduduwa Republic will emerge six months after Biafra – Femi Fani-Kayode
By GRACE TOYIN BELLO
The agitations for self-determination and threats of breakup of Nigeria has continued to penetrate different ethnic segments in the country. The Biafra agitation has generated high momentum in the separatist agitations to which the northern oligarchy reacted to in an inordinate and uncomplimentary manner, apparently, provoking extremist threats from other ethnic nationalities within and outside the North.
Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, has declared that Oduduwa Republic will be created six months after Biafra becomes a sovereign state.
Fani-Kayode, who has been publicly supporting the Biafra movement, took to his Twitter page on Friday, to insist on a referendum for self-determination in the South East and other component units of Nigerian federation.
He wrote: “‘Treat the surrendering Biafrans well or risk their children rising again’- Gen. Phillip Effiong, 1970. Prophetic words.

“Oduduwa Republic shall be established no more than six months after Biafra has been created. Then, we shall be free. TIME FOR REFERENDUMS!”
Fani-Kayode, on Sunday, articulated the view that Nigeria should be begging Igbos for forgiveness and not threatening them.
Fani-Kayode declared; the people from the South East need to be apologized to, after “we killed three million Igbos in the war, includingone1 million children.”
