Olori begs, reconciles with Ooni, but holds on to allegations
As the news of their marriage meltdown continues making headlines, the Ooni of Ife, Eniitan Ogunwusi and his Olori Silekunola Moronke Naomi are said to have reconciled thanks to efforts by elders from both sides.
Only that Naomi’s Instagram divorce post has not been pulled despite the good news.
According to Prince Eniola Ojajuni, a former guber candidate in Ondo, elders from the Ooni’ side (Ile Ife) and elders from Akure, where Olori Naomi is from, met on the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 29, to help reconcile the couple.
In a Facebook post, Ojajuni said the meeting held in Akure and that the Olori’s mother “asked for forgiveness” on her daughter’s behalf.
“Battle is over!” He wrote, with a picture of the Olori entering a waiting car by palace aides and uniformed officials.
When Naomi first called it quits, the palace came out denying the breakdown, saying th two went to bed the night before.
Many Nigerians will again be skeptical about the reconciliation.
This is the third marriage Ooni Eniitan Ogunwusi go through since he ascended the throne about six years ago.
