One player everyone wants, but Liverpool won’t sell
That’s according to James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo, who says Jurgen Klopp wants to keep Origi at Anfield regardless of his contract situation.
The Champions League hero is contracted until June 2020 and has received plenty of interest from European sides including Real Betis.
But he’s staying put and Liverpool hope contract negotiations to extend his stay will be successful.
In other transfer news, Leeds have signed forward Rafa Mujica from Barcelona B on a three-year deal.
The 20-year-old, who will initially link up with the club’s under-23 side, is Leeds’ fifth signing of the summer.
Leeds said in a statement on their official website: “Leeds United can confirm the arrival of Rafa Mujica, who joins the club following the expiration of his contract at FC Barcelona.”
Leeds have also signed midfielder Guillermo Amor from Barcelona, and the 18-year-old will link up with Mark Jackson’s Under-18s side.
