Operation Python Dance II commences in six states

Exercise EGWU EKE II is scheduled to start fully from 15th September – 14th October 2017 simultaneously in Abia, Anambra, Cross River, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States.
The Nigerian Army has evolved mechanism of transparency in the military operations in the South East to ensure the soldiers comply with standard rules, otherwise, civilians will be at liberty to report abuses. .

The Army Headquarters denied reports of soldiers manhandling civilians in Abia State, explaining that investigation team has gone round Abia State but received no complaints of military brutality.
