Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation sponsors 20 youths to universities abroad
The Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Orji Uzor Kalu says 20 young Nigerians have benefited from his foundation’s scholarship program to study medicine and surgery abroad.
Kalu who stated this recently when the last badge of departing students accompanied by their parents paid him a thank you visit at his Abuja residence, said when it comes to education, Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation has kept its commitments on setting the path for the success of the future generations.
“The number of local and international students of the foundation’s scholarship has continued to increase and I am very happy with the number of future leaders we are building.

“On Monday, another set of the beneficiaries of our international scholarship will be leaving to resume school for a six year study in medicine and surgery in South America at the prestigious University, Latino American Medicine School-Escuela.
“Today is my first time meeting the duo of Master Ogbu John Chibuike and Miss Akinloye Ridoyat Aramide and their parents and I am impressed with their level of intelligence and brilliance.
“They hail from Enugu and Lagos state respectively. This rounds up the number of our foreign students to 20 since the beginning of the full semester. Congratulations to Chibuike and Aramide.”
