Ortom tackles, rejects Atiku because of Wike
Benue Governor Samuel Ortom has called on the PDP to offer Rivers Gov Nyesom Wike a peace offering because the PDP has offended him.
Ortom said this on Arise TV on Wednesday morning, recalling how Wike brought him back to the PDP in 2015 when he was treated unjustly.
“Why do you just send calls to Wike, you should have to go to him,” Ortom said.
“When people left the party, Wike was on ground. It was Wike that brought me back to PDP when I was treated unjustly.
“He brought me back to PDP in 2015. You have treated Wike badly. The party and national level should go to him and appeal to him. He came second to Atiku.”
Since Wike lost his presidential tickets and the vice presidential slot, the PDP has slipped into panic mode.
The party leadership set up a panel to find solution to that, but no progress has been recorded yet.
The APC, the LP, and the NNPP have since been courting the river governor.
