PDP adjusts dates for primaries
The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday adjusted the proposed dates for all the primaries for the nomination of candidates for the 2023 general elections. The PDP NWC in a notice of the adjustments, highlighted that the new dates are as follows:
House of Assembly – Saturday 21st of May.
House of Representatives – Sunday 22nd of May.
Senate – Monday 23rd of May.
Gubernatorial- Thursday 26th of May
The NWC urged members to note the above and adjust accordingly.
The party has recently completed the sales of Expression of Interests and Nomination forms for the aspirants for various ticket for the 2023 general elections. Subsequently, the party set up a committee to screen the aspirants.
