Police on red alert in Ibadan after arrest of 20 Yoruba Nation agitators
The Oyo State Police Command has placed its personnel on red alert after the arrest of 20 members of the Separatist Group,”Yoruba Nation” last Saturday who were attempting to takeover the Oyo State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, Southwest Nigeria.

According to the State Police Command @OyoPoliceNG “this happened during the early hours of the day.
“Adequate security measures have been emplaced to comprehensively cater for the residents and the good citizens at large.

One Ms. Modupe Onitiri Abiola, had proclaimed herself President of Yoruba Nation, and declaring the Democratic Republic of Yoruba, and proclaiming the secession of the Yoruba Nation from Nigeria.
There were acknowledgments of the “Newest Nation in the World”, celebrated at congratulated as the “Democratic Republic of Yoruba Nation.”
Meanwhile, the police have sustained surveillance and are not giving any space to anarchy in southwest Nigeria.
