Presidency 2023: Five aspirant pick APC forms at N100m, 11 aspirants waiting
Five of the presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have collected the party’s presidential expression of interest and nomination forms at N100 million. Several others are yet to pay for the forms.
The APC expression of interest form sales at N30 million while Presidential nomination form costs N70 million.
The five presidential aspirants that have collected their expression of interest and nomination forms at N100 million include Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, Senator Rochas Okorocha and Emeka Nwajiuba.
Popular presidential aspirants in the APC that are yet to obtain the N100 million forms at the time of this report include the following:
- Godswill Akpabio
- Yemi Osinbajo
- Kayode Fayemi
- Adams Oshiomhole
- Tunde Bakare
- Ben Ayade
- Rotimi Amaechi
- Tein Jack Rich,
- Adamu Garba
- Olawepo-Hashim.
- Nicolas Felix
Bakare is, however, expected to formally declare for the presidential race on the platform of the APC next week.
Since the APC leadership has formally zoned the party’s presidential ticket for the 2023 elections to the south, the presidential aspirants are expected to now go for their forms henceforth.
