Presidency 2023: Neither Tinubu nor Osinbajo has leadership experience I possess – Amaechi
A presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation, on Wednesday declared in Kano that neither Vice President Yemi Osinbajo SAN, nor APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, possesses the leadership experience that he has acquired. Amaechi told Kano delegates that he is the most qualified to be voted for the APC presidential ticket at the party’s primaries and national convention. The former minister, therefore, appealed to Kano delegates to give him all their votes.
According to Amaechi, “neither Vice President Yemi Osinbajo nor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu possesses the job experiences I have acquired as former two term Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, two term Rivers State Governor, chairman speaker’s forum twice, chairman governor’s forum twice and appointment as federal cabinet minister twice.”
Amaechi asserted that it is imperative the APC delegates vote according to their conscience so as not to regret voting wrongly later; saying that there is no place for second position in the presidential race.
