Presidency 2023: Tinubu appoints Oshiomhole, vice chairman, Akpabio vice chairman, south-south of presidential campaign
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Friday appointed Godswill Akpabio, former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, vice chairman, South-South, and Adams Oshiomhole, deputy director-general of Operations, as he released a list of 422 members of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for the electioneering campaign for the 2023 presidential election.
The appointments announced on Friday night by the Secretary of the Campaign Council James Faleke, included President Muhammadu Buhari as head of the campaign.
Other appointments include Kashim Shettima, vice-presidential candidate, named as vice chairman, Hadiza Usman, deputy director-general (Admin), Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Vice Chairman and state Coordinator; Uju Kennedy, former female APC presidential aspirant, vice chairman South-East, Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State, Regional Co-ordinator and Chairman, North; Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, regional co-ordinator South and Ebonyi; Gov. Ben Ayade of Cross River, regional director south-south; Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, zonal co-ordinator South-West and Ondo State; Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State, zonal co-ordinator for North-central and Niger State; Governor Muhammed Yahaha of Gombe State, zonal co-ordinator, North-East and Gombe State; Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State, zonal co-ordinator, North-West and Zamfara.
Others include Governor Yahaha Bello of Kogi State, National Youth Co-ordinator, Felix Nicholas, Deputy National Youth Co-ordinator; Festus Keyamo, spokesperson, Chris Tarka, deputy secretary, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Co-ordinator for Ekiti State and Adviser Foreign Affairs, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Senior Adviser on strategic planning; Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, Adviser on Legal Matters, Aliyu Wamako, Adviser on Special Duties, Rotimi Amaechi, adviser on infrastructure; Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, adviser political affairs and Kano coordinator; Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, coordinator, Kaduna State and senior adviser, policy, strategy and enforcement; Abdulrahaman Danbazzau, adviser, strategic engagement, Ibikunle Amosun, adviser on contacts and mobilisation; Dele Alake, Adviser on Media, Communications and Public Affairs; beside many others.
