It is not a rumor that the executive governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde has shown interest in ruling Oyo state for another four years and as a result of this, so many of his loyalty and supporters have been singing his song.
The people’s democratic party primary election took place at the Lekan Alamo stadium in Ibadan. The two major contestant of the governorship position in People’s Democratic Party are Engineer Seyi Makinde and Mr Hazeem Gbolarunmi.
While announcing the result of the primary election, the officer in charge, Ben Obi said the sitting governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde is the winner with a vote of 1,040, while the opponent has just two votes.
Over time, Engineer Seyi Makinde has proven to be a leader with great intellect, he is one of the few governors that loves to hear the youth and to support them. Winning the primary election simply means, Engineer Seyi Makinde is now the flag bearer of PDP and he is set to compete with anybody that the other part choose.
