Reno Omokri reacts after some protesters asked Southwest states, not to vote for Atiku
The former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr Reno Omokri has condemned the message that was written on the banner carried by some protesters in southwestern part of Nigeria.
The message on the banner asked voters in the 6 Southwest states; Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, Osun, Ekiti and Ogun to say no to Atiku Abubakar in 2023.
Reacting to the scenario, Reno Omokri took to his verified Facebook Page and said that the action of the group is wrong. He said that the former Vice President worked all his life as a civil servant in Southwest. Reno went on to reveal that Atiku’s first wife is a Yoruba woman.
Furthermore, Reno admonished Tinubu and his group not to play ethnic politics because it can never take the country forward. Reno said that the North have been great friends to the Southwest which was shown in how they votes massively for Abiola and Obasanjo.
