RIWAMA boss charges Rivers state residents on hygienic living
The Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro. Felix Obuah has called on residents and those doing business in the State to ensure that their surroundings are clean.
Obuah who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, added that there will be no restriction of human and vehicular movements on Saturday.
The RIWAMA boss reiterated the abounding benefits of a clean and healthy environment to the people and the State in general, especially with the threat of COVID-19 pandemic.
He advised residents and all those doing business in the State to maintain good sanitary habits by always cleaning their surroundings and dumping wastes at RIWAMA approved receptacles only; and at the approved dumping hours of 6pm to 12mid midnight, daily.
Bro. Obuah while commending the Governor for his support in ensuring a clean and healthy Rivers State, also urged Rivers people to support Governor Nyesom Wike’s vision of a safe and clean environment.
