Russia dares U.S., NATO, deploys advanced hypersonic missiles in Ukraine
Russia may have dared the United States (U.S.) and all NATO allies when the country deployed the newest Kinzhal hypersonic missiles for the first time in Ukraine to destroy a weapons storage site in the west of Ukraine last Friday. Russian defence ministry acknowledging the sue of hypersonic missiles, said: “The Kinzhal aviation missile system with hypersonic aeroballistic missiles destroyed a large underground warehouse containing missiles and aviation ammunition in the village of Deliatyn in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.”
It was highlighted that Deliatyn, on the picturesque Carpathian Mountains, is outside the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, which has a 50-kilometre (30-mile) long border with NATO member state, Romania.
President Vladimir Putin of Russia had classified the Kinzhal missile “an ideal weapon” that flies at 10 times the speed of sound and can overcome air-defence systems.
The Russian President had revealed the development of Kinzhal missile as new weapons in Putin’s state-of-the-nation address in 2018.
The West escalated the provocation of Russia by continuously providing military support for Ukraine against Russia.
