Before the commencement of the Council Meeting, I swore – in the Secretary to the Kaduna State Government, Dr. Abdulkadir Muazu Mayere. Dr. Mayere is a retired Federal Permanent Secretary who served Nigeria in various capacities where he distinguished himself. I congratulate him and wish him the best in the discharge of his duty to our dear state.
The success and stability of our administration rests on the shoulders of members of the Executive Council. We are expected to deliver at a most challenging time in the life of our state and country. I have no doubt in my mind that with the calibre of members of the Executive Council, we shall surpass expectations and leave a lasting legacy in Kaduna State.
