Sanwo-Olu congratulates Speaker Tajudeen Abbas
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has congratulated Tajudeen Abbas on his election as the Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives in the National Assembly.
The governor urged the new speaker to extend a hand of comradeship to every member, regardless of their voting preferences and today, and also encouraged the leaders to foster unity by working collaboratively with every member to surpass the achievements of the 9th assembly, while joining hands to build a stronger, more united nation.

“Congratulations to Hon. Tajudeen Abbas on being elected as the Speaker of the House of Representatives and Hon. Benjamin Kalu, the newly appointed Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
“During a courtesy visit to me last month, I urged them to extend a hand of comradeship to every member, regardless of their voting preferences and today, I want to encourage them to foster unity by working collaboratively with every member to surpass the achievements of the 9th assembly as we join hands to build a stronger, more united nation.”
