Sheikh Gumi reveals what Peter Obi should do if he wants to stand a chance in 2023
The renowned Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Ahmed Gumi has aired his view on the Presidential Ambition of the Bola Asiwaju Tinubu, Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar during an interview. Sheikh Gumi said the youths who are following him are divided like the adults, and that he should not just rely on the youths alone to get votes in the 2023 presidential election.
Speaking on what Peter Obi should do, Sheikh Gumi said he expects him to reach out to other segments of Nigerians (probably the women, men and elderly). He said Peter Obi has to be all over the place, and should not focus on just one region in the 2023 presidential election.
In his words, he said: “Youths following him are divided like the adults. He needs to reach out to other segments of Nigerians. Relying on youths is not enough. He has to be all over the place, and not leave politics to one region.”
