Shettima Challenge: APC vice presidential candidate reacts
APC vice presidential candidate has finally reacted to the trending Shettima Challenge, an online mockery of his suit at the last NBA conference in Lagos.
Sen. Kashim Shettima suited up, loose and hip, with a pair of chunky sneakers to match—for a reason.
In a video currently making the rounds, the Borno former governor declared that he deliberately wore sneakers to the event, which took place on Monday because there was a plan by a presidential candidate and his supporters to commit mischief at the event.
“One of the presidential candidates, his team held meetings for three consecutive nights to commit mischief.
“When I was told it was a hostile crowd. I’m a banker, trained by one of the best bankers in the world. I’m a Jim Ovia boy. I deliberately wore sneakers to the NBA to mock them.”
Also present at the event were PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and LP’s counterpart Peter Obi, the only guest in native dress.
