Soldier arrested with Canadian loud
The Nigeria Police Force has apprehended a soldier, Lance Corporal Sani Aminu, in possession of a substance suspected to be “Canadian Loud,” a potent imported synthetic strain of cannabis.
Lance Corporal Aminu, identified by service number 13NA/70/11481, was arrested on Wednesday in Lagos State.
The arrest was confirmed through a police signal obtained by newsmen. According to the report, a police patrol team led by ASP Alex Dung intercepted Aminu near the Abalti Barracks in the Surulere area of Lagos at approximately 8:15 PM.

The police signal update the incident involving the incident. It detailed that on the 15th of January in the year 2025 at approximately 8:15 PM a police patrol team that was led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Alex Dung successfully intercepted and detained a soldier named Lance Corporal Sani Aminu who carries the service number 13NA/70/11481. This soldier is assigned to the Abalti Barracks, which is located in the Surulere area. Upon his apprehension the authorities discovered that he was in possession of substances that are suspected to be a strong type of imported synthetic cannabis known as Canadian Loud.
Following this arrest it has been decided that the suspect will be taken to the CP Tactical Squad 1 where he will undergo further investigation into this matter to determine more details regarding the substances found and any additional legal implications that may arise from this incident.
