Son kills mother over noodles

A man in Awka, Anambra, has allegedly killed his mother over disagreement iver a dispute on breakfast.

While the mother was preparing yam porridge for breakfast on Wednesday, his son preferred noodles.

This led to an argument, and the mother went on with the preparation of the yam porridge.

“But shortly after that there was noise,” said a relative. “As we rushed to know what happened, the man had killed the mother in the kitchen.”

The unnamed man was said to have been having issues with his mother.

“The son killed his own mother while she was cooking and abandoned her in a pool of blood.

The neighbours have informed the police authorities.
