South African Naval Chief begins 5-day visit to Nigeria
The Chief of the South African Navy, Vice Admiral Mosiwa Samuel Hlongwane arrived Nigeria over the weekend on a 5 day visit to Nigeria.
The visit is focused on the creation of strategic framework for information sharing and mutual assistance as well as mutual cooperation between the South African Navy and the Nigerian Navy.
In furtherance to that, a South African ship will be arriving Naval Dockyard on Monday (today) as part of the visit.
During the visit, the SA naval boss will tour Nigerian Navy establishments and units, courtesy calls on the Chief of the Defence Staff, Chief of the Naval Staff and Chief of the Air Staff. He will also be visiting National Defence College Abuja.
