South-West PDP supports Atiku to challenge Buhari, APC in court
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the southwest has declared support for the decision of the party’s candidate in the Saturday, February 23 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, to challenge the results of the election and attempt to reclaim the stolen mandate in court.
The leadership of the party while addressing journalists in Lagos on Friday condemned what it called the abuse and double standard that characterized the election.
The southwest PDP, therefore, called on its presidential candidate and the National Working Committee of the party to immediately commence an action to expose the fraud perpetrated in the elections with a view to reclaiming its victory.
The party said it will not allow any disruption of the next round of elections while also calling on Nigerians to vote for its candidates across board next Saturday.
