Staffer murders boss, calls police for sexual harassment
A staffer of the Federal Competitive Consumer Protection Commission FCCPC, Katsina Branch, allegedly killed her boss right inside his office, and the reported sexual harassment to police.
Reports say Abdulsalam Taiwo Muhibat had a money dispute with her boss, Julius Haruna, the Northwest Zonal Coordinator, FCCPC that day.
Without informing her colleagues, Muhibat went and came back with two police officers, and met the boss’s corpse bruised, in a torn shirt.
Colleagues who later saw her said she had no bruise like someone molested.
Haruna, 57, had reported Ms Muhibat many times to the Head Office for acts of insubordination.
The elder brother of the deceased, Aegidius Haruna said “from the statement given and what I heard, they quarreled over money approved for her in the office because she needed extra which he refused to oblige. I think that is how the problem started.
“We are shocked by his death. Our family members sent me here to seek justice for his death,” Aegidius noted in a brief statement.
According to the elder brother, Muhibat who is currently detained at the GRA Police station would be moved in due course to the state CID for further investigation.
