Taraba High Courts begin Easter vacation April 21

Justice Joel Agya, Chief Judge of Taraba State, has announced the commencement of the 2025 Easter vacation beginning from April 21 to 27.
The Chief Judge, in a Legal Notice No 2, 2025, in Jalingo on Thursday, asserted that the notice was in line with the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules of 2011.
According to him, whereas it is provided under Order 8 Rule 4 (C) of the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2011, that the sitting of the High Court for the dispatch of cases shall be held on every weekday except during the week beginning with Easter Monday.
”Now, therefore, it is hereby directed for general information that there shall be an Easter vacation of the High Court throughout the state commencing from April 21 to 27.”
