Ted Jan Bloemen breaks Olympic record in speed-skating 10,000m
Calgary speedskater Ted-Jan Bloemen has won the 🥇gold medal in the men’s 10,000 meters
at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics National Daily gathered.
Bloemen, the world record holder in the distance, posted an Olympic-record time of ⏱twelve minutes 39.77 seconds National Daily learnt.
It’s Bloemen’s second medal of the Games after taking 🥈silver in the 5,000 meters behind Sven Kramer of the Netherlands on Tuesday.
Dutchman ,Jorrit Bergsma, the 10k winner in 2014, took silver and Italy’s Nicolo Tumolero the bronze.
Toronto’s Jordan Belchos finished fifth with a career-best time of 12:59.51.
