The Okpebholo’s absurdity
Monday Okpebholo, the man hiding behind godfathers, seems to have little interest in facing the press. He’s been dodging public scrutiny like it’s a game of hide N’ seek, so journalists have graciously offered to make things easier for him.
Dr. Reuben Abati of Arise TV has even suggested lowering the bar – he has offered to skip English entirely and switch to pidgin or Okpebholo’s native Esan language?
To add to the absurdity, Okpebholo can even bring along an interpreter to guide him through the interview. After all, it’s about time we hear from the man who wants to lead but can’t seem to find his voice. The absurdity of governing Edo state in Esan local dialect.
Is this not the height of absurdity that Okpebholo brings to Edo State? Can we just avoid this ‘flat-tyre’ candidate and disaster come September 21st?
The absurdity is that Edo could become the butt of jokes (a comedian in Osadebey Avenue) if we’re not careful.
