The Only Nigerian winner of N10m on Who Wants To Be a Millionnaire in 2009 without Life Line
The first and only Nigerian winner of N10 million, the highest prize in the TV Game show of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” was Aroma Ufodike, an indigene of Nnewi, Anambra State.
Aroma Ufodike answered all the questions correctly without using any life line when he featured on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” on September 11, 2009, thus, winning the maximum prize of N10 million.
National Daily Newspaper recalled that, while on the last question, Aroma said: “ I want to use my “phone a friend “ option to call my family at home that I’m about to win 10million Naira.”
Thereafter, there was explosion of celebration and funfair in the studio, even the coordinator, Frank Edoho, could not restrain his extreme excitement.
