The National Chairman, South West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 (SWAGA), Senator Dayo Adeyeye has expressed his views regarding the endorsement of Peter Obi by the leadership of pan Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere.
Senator Dayo who was speaking in a program on Thursday said that the pan Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere is not divided in it’s support for the presidential ambition of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.
According to Daily Post, Senator Dayo Adeyeye said Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition is supported by majority of Afenifere’s members in spite of contrary insinuations from some quarters.
According to him, if any decision is going to be taken regarding who to support, it is not going to be a one-man show. He said what he read in the papers was a personal decision of Ayo Adebanjo and not the opinion of Afenifere.
