Troops storm kidnappers den in Lame-Burra forest in Bauchi
- Arrest one notorious gang member

It was a bumper harvest for troops of 135 Battalion, 33 Brigade Nigerian Army, Bauchi as they have successfully decimated kidnapper’s den and arrested a 20-year-old Ado Ahmad.
National Daily learnt that the troops were deployed at Dangarfa, Ningi Local Government Area, and are currently on Operation HARBIN KUNAMA II.

It was further gathered that they cleared the notorious kidnappers’ camps in Lame-Burra, Dangarfa and Dangardo forests, in Bauchi State.
During the operation, the suspected kidnappers on sighting the troops at Lame-Bureau forest, made an attempted bid to escape but they were neutralized and arrested one person.
Items recovered from their camps after thorough search included one Dane gun, one Locally made single barrel gun, one locally made pistol, 37 empty cases of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition, two live rounds of 7.62mm amunition, 10 cartridges, and one Gionee 7L800 Mobile telephone handset.
The Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, 33 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Major Joseph Adekunle Afolasade told National Daily that the troops will not rest in their oars to clean up the buffoonery of kidnappers and other criminal elements in the state.
