The United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Thursday, announced the completion of the Arab world’s first nuclear power plant.

According to the Emirate, Abu Dhabi’s Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant will generate 40 terawatt hours of electricity per year, providing up to 25 per cent of the UAE’s electricity needs.
