The military authorities of Mali on Monday revealed the sending of a joint-delegation of officials from both Mali and Burkina Faso on solidarity to Niger Republic.

“The Malian army announced on Monday the sending to Niamey by Mali and Burkina Faso of an official joint delegation in “solidarity” with Niger, the scene at the end of July of a military coup and under the threat of West African military intervention.
“Burkina Faso and Mali send a delegation to Niamey, led by the Malian minister” Abdoulaye Maïga, one of the strong men of the news to the Malian authorities, said the Malian army on social networks. “Objective: to show the solidarity of the two countries with the brotherly people of Niger,” she added.
The Nigerien Foreign Affairs revealed that the delegation is expected Niger on Monday.
The ECOWAS 7-day ultimatum elapsed on Sunday at midnight.
