Why Atiku will never forget this state
The candidate of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has continued to maintain his lead in the presidential election in Plateau State, as he wins his tenth LGA out of thirteen announced by INEC.
Abubakar has so far polled a total of 373, 091 votes, while Buhari’s has 226, 532 votes.
The results were announced by INEC Collation Officers from the various Local Governments.
The PDP candidate won in Jos South, Mikang, Bassa, Riyom, Bokkos, Pankshin, Kanke, Langtang South, Barkin Ladi and Langtang North Local Governments.
Buhari, on the other hand, won in Jos East, Quaan Pan and Shendam Local Governments.
Results from four more LGAs are being awaited.
