Why ex-VP Sambo sneaked into Aso Rock day after Osinbajo’s revelation
Former Vice President Namadi Sambo on Tuesday had a closed- door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
His visit came a day after V.P Yemi Osinbajo revealed the last PDP government which Sanbo served shared N150 billion a week to the end of the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Sambo is not a regular at the Villa, though.
Since he left office this was his second visit, and it lasted for less than haf an hour.
He crisply explained why he came to State House journalists raring to hear from him .
According to him, he came for a private meeting with President Buhari whose administartion has been digging into Sambo’s complicity in $2.1 billion arms fund mismanagament in the run uo to 2015 election.
The former VP’s office on Kaduna was raided last year, following an earlier raid in 2016, by the EFCC and the ICPC on separate occasions.
