Woman found dead, man unconcious inside office
A woman was found d£ad and another man unconscious inside an office apartment in Aba, Abia State on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
It was gathered that the yet-to-be-identified persons were found in the office located at No 7, Factory Road off Eziukwu Bus Stop.
According to the police, the duo were last seen together when the deceased visited the office last Wednesday, June 15.
It was also gathered that family members of the man who had been looking for him made some reports to security agencies after declaring him missing.
Sources said the stench coming from the woman’s corpse attracted neighbours to the office which was locked on Saturday. Upon entry, they found the lifeless body of the woman and the man inside the office.
The remains of the lady were taken to the morgue while the man was taken to a hospital for medical attention.
Sources within the area suggested that the man was having an extra-marital affair with the deceased.
A source at the Abia State Police Command told Nigerian Tribune that the said the station in charge of the case was yet to identify the victims.
He confirmed that the man in question was still unconscious, adding that an investigation is ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of the woman.
Meanwhile, a report posted by a Facebook page, CASAT TV, identified the man as Prince Innocent Ukaumunna, a realtor.
