2 PDP Reps members defect to APC
Two members of the House of Representatives elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday, defected to the All Pr0ogeressives Congress (APC).
The defectors include Jallo Hussaini Mohammed, House of Representatives member for Igabi Federal Constituency, Kaduna State; and Adamu Tanko, House of Representatives member, representing Gurara/Suleja/Tafa Federal Constituency, Niger State.

The defections, announced by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, at plenary, would alter the power equation of the National Assembly in the Lower Chamber, of the contemporary dispensation.

Jallo Hussaini Mohammed defects from PDP to APC in the House of Reps
The Speaker, announcing the defection, rejected point-of-order raised by a member of the House, citing that the Minority Leader is already aware of the defection. He, however, later allowed the member to speak on the point-of-order after resistance to his rejection.
