2019: Atiku defeats Buhari in FCT
The presidential election result of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, announced by the Independent National Election Commission, INEC, shows that the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, defeated President Muhammadu Buhari in the FCT. The result indicated that APC had 152, 224 voted while PDP had 259, 997 votes.
The PDP Situation Room indicated that the party did well in Taraba, Plateau states and fairly well in Benue and Nasarawa states. However, official results are still being awaited from those states.
