2027: Obi remains sole visionary presidential candidate–El-Buba
By Kingsley Chukwuka
The Obidient Movement on the Plateau has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to Peter Obi, declaring that its support transcends traditional political party boundaries.
Prophet Isa El-Buba, the leader of the movement in Plateau State, made this assertion while confirming that the group is fully mobilized to back Obi massively once again.
Speaking to our correspondent on Tuesday, El-Buba, said Obi remains the sole visionary presidential candidate, capable of rescuing Nigeria from its current economic hardships and the persistent insecurity bedeviling the nation.

El-Buba emphasized that the movement’s allegiance is tied to the candidate’s capacity and integrity rather than any political platform.
He noted that regardless of political affiliations, members of the group and well-meaning citizens are united in their resolve to deliver maximum support to Obi, reiterating that the core mission of the movement is the total revitalization of the country, a feat he believes only Obi can achieve among the current crop of political leaders.
Still basking in the historic performance of the 2023 general elections in the State, the Obidient movement said it will repeat the same victory come 2027.
Recall that the Movement mobilized a massive voter turnout that ultimately delivered a resounding victory for Peter Obi in the state’s presidential poll in 2023.
By restructuring their strategy ahead of future political engagements, El-buba said Plateau remains a stronghold for the Obi political movement.
